Principal’s Perspective October 30, 2015

Principal’s Perspective October 30, 2015 As you will see in this week’s newsletter, Mrs. Tia Hewes was chosen as our UVM’s Outstanding Teacher of the Year. She was honored on Thursday, October 22nd, at a ceremony in Burlington and we are very proud of her as she is dedicated to her profession and demonstrates a great passion to the success of all her students. Congratulations Mrs. Hewes! Thank you to those parents who were able to attend Parent/Teacher Conferences. We hope that the information that you received was useful and that you are happy with what is going on in your child’s classrooms. We would like to remind you that there will be a Veterans’ Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 10th at 1:15 p.m. As it is also our first Celebration of Learning, some students will be receiving awards for various achievements. We hope that you can join us. Also, there will be no school on Wednesday, November 11th in honor of Veterans’ Day. Please be sure that your child has appropriate outdoor clothing for the ever changing Vermont weather. If we can be of assistance, please contact the main office. Have a safe and happy Halloween! K.
